The whole house has a wonderful warm feel to it...

We decided to try Arabella Guesthouse after staying a few times in Mooloolaba itself as well as Alexandra Heads. As such this was a new experience for and it was a great experience. Right from our arrival when the owner of Arabella House Joe made sure we were happy with the accommodation before signing us in (wouldnt it be great if all accommodation places did this?) to the personalised follow up email and free voucher for Joe's tea shop, this was a quality and warm experience.

The accommodation itself is superb. We stayed in the lower self-contained unit. It was small, but beautifully furnished, modern and very clean. We had a lovely bush view and balcony. The bed was very comfortable. In the morning we had cereal and a cooked breakfast (eggs) which were provided for in the price. The shared space upstairs is big and has very good views. The whole house has a wonderful warm feel to it and is beautifully furnished.

The setting is great as it is quiet - well away from the pubs etc, elevated and has the natural bush around it. Because it is away from Mooloolaba/Alexandra Heads beachfront it does mean you will need a car, or have to use a taxi (maybe there are buses?) or have a 45 minute walk to Mooloolaba itself if you wish to go to those areas. For us that wasn't a problem and the accommodation style, quality and setting more than compensated for the distance. We used a taxi to Alexandra Heads - (Black Bunny Kitchen Craft Beer Bar - highly recommended). The fare was about $11 from memory). We will definitely be back.
